Marriage
Law Imbroglio
It
Takes Two to Tango
 |
By PAUL HERTELENDY
of TheColumnists.com
The warring factions show no mercy,
Close to violence debating this years marriage controversy.
Injecting my opinion, my stand is adamant,
As I impose my argument most vehement.
This heated melee institutional
Boils down to precedent and principle, mandating maybe
an amendment constitutional.
Excuse my arrogance, but
what is right must be defended strongly,
Doubly so when others lose all sight, or argue issues wrongly.
The nub, I do believe, is, whether in the court or under steeple,
Marriage has to be a contract made between two people.
