 ENDEARMENT

The shining fun of love.

-

Whenever I veer off on flights of fancy

I see above the morbid glide of sooty crows.

Whenever I devour juicy meals and aromatic coffee

I look below and see the bones and dregs.

Whenever I imagine galaxies of shimmered beauty

I detect within the sucking hell of stellar black black holes.

Whenever I turn thoughts to love however

So far, so far, that love has been our shining sun, forever.
